CFDC’s daytime dance program is designed to be taken in addition to a dancer’s regular evening classes to allow those dancers with homeschooling or non-traditional education paths the opportunity to advance their dance skills at an excelled pace. Dancers will take daily Ballet, in addition to rotating Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Technique, Choreography Combinations, strengthening, stretching, and Tumbling classes. On top of these daily classes they will take Master Classes every 6-8 weeks from visiting guest artists, private lessons, and many other exciting opportunities described in detail below.
Students receive individualized attention and coaching during the day, while working on refining technique and strengthening. CFDC Directors and Instructors will work with each dancer to design an individual curriculum to help them achieve a better understanding of not only technique, artistry, and performance but also total body maintenance with emphasis on injury prevention. The focus of this program is to give young and talented dancers the chance to make their training a top priority and to be fully prepared for upcoming performances, competitions, and audition opportunities.
